my production role
i edited both of the soap operas for both groups
stenghths - they turned out really good the transitions were clean and the cuts wernt to bad either
weakness - there were a couple of technical hitches however i figured it out
summary
unfortunately there was not enough time or budget to create this wall so we decided to go with a simple set how ever we did keep the doors which really helped me visualize the prison to get into character.
set desighn ideas
i helped paint the doors for bad girls we wanted to make sure thatt he doors were sturdy specially so it was safe . even though i didnt come in half term to do the first lot of door i spent the first week back at college painting them
my original idea for the staffroom would be to build a extension wall on wheels using timber and palster bourd with one side being the stathroom with a notice bourd and sink attached to it ans the other side being a cell with a bed and toilet attached to it
1
Determine what kind of plasterboard you´ll need.- White plasterboard is not water resistant but very cheap.
- Blue or green plasterboard is water resistant but costs 2-3 times more.
2
Draw a straight line on the floor or on the place where are you going to build your wall.
3
Cut wood for the frame and assemble it, using a screwdriver. You can use a permanent adhesive but it's not recommended, if you want to be able to remove the dry wall later. or u can use nails for a permenant structure
4
Measure and cut the plasterboard.5 Screw the plasterboard on the frame.
6
Add insulation to your wall, if you want. Just cut it to the right size and place it inside your frame. Make sure to get the right type of insulation, depending on what you need: heat or noise or both.Plaster your wall or just cover it with some paper.
so our wall is easier to move we will add wheels either from a stage block or a t shape with wheels so we can put it flat againt the wall when not in use.
